True Story
While at a relatives house for a weekend get together with the family I made a cup of coffee in their high end single cup coffee machine which grinds its own beans for freshness but on the second cup I was about to brew I wanted to check the water level and noticed a green tinge in the reservoir which I pointed out to my sister-in law who was pretty embarrassed.
Upon closer inspection there was quite a bit of algae growing in it, she was mortified and promptly began washing the reservoir. Me being in the water industry for over 25 years maintaining large pharmaceutical grade water systems I understood what needed to be done, I asked her if she had some household bleach which I used to sanitize the machine. Although household bleach isn't my first choice for a sanitizer as it contains other additives it was better than nothing so I got to it and a short while later we had a sparkling clean machine.
As my sister in-law ranted about how to keep the machine clean asking me a bunch of questions about how to sanitize and how often she should do it a light bulb went off in my head. If she has all of these questions and concerns others probably have the same questions and concerns. Clean Machine was born.

No more embarrassing moments
In response to my sister in-law's reaction and how disgusted and embarrassed she was I developed CM-600, a sanitizing tablet you simply drop into your coffee maker's reservoir and run it through the machine. After you complete the flush step you're ready to brew a clean fresh tasting cup of coffee (or tea or coco). The entire process only takes just over 30 minutes, a short amount of time to keep your coffee machine sparkling clean.
